Editorial policy & evidence

Our approach to product guidance, sources and corrections.

Policy updated: September 9, 2026

What this website helps you do

CattleFenceWire is a commercial product-selection and inquiry website. Its guides help buyers compare cattle and field fencing, prepare specifications and discuss supply requirements. This is not an independent product-testing laboratory or a substitute for project-specific design.

How to read a recommendation

A fence choice depends on the intended animals, fence role, site conditions and specified product. General explanations, illustrations and calculators are planning aids. Confirm the actual product specification, installation instructions and local requirements before committing to an order or installation.

Sources and numerical examples

For new and revised guidance, our editorial standard is to identify the source and its applicable date, region and product scope. A reference to a standard explains the subject being discussed; it does not prove that a supplied product is certified or tested to that standard.

Cost examples should identify currency, pricing date and included materials, labor, transport and taxes. Supplier quotations and local installation estimates determine project prices. A lifespan example is not a warranty. Where supporting evidence is incomplete, the claim requires further review rather than being presented as a verified result.

Supplier and project evidence

Request the supplying company's details, product specification and any required test documents with your inquiry. Third-party examples must remain attributed to their original source. They should not be interpreted as projects delivered or tests performed by CattleFenceWire.

Research assistance and review limits

AI tools may assist research, drafting and site maintenance. Automated checks can confirm links or locate wording; they do not validate engineering calculations, certifications or legal requirements. Older material is being reviewed progressively, and publication on this website does not mean every historical statement has completed a technical review.

A policy update or webpage update date is not a test date or a professional approval. Electrical, structural and site-specific safety decisions need review by appropriately qualified people using the applicable manufacturer and project documents.

Request a correction

Email tony.buy@gmail.com with the page URL, the statement you are questioning and a source or product document where available. Please separate a request to correct published information from a request for a project quotation.
